1968 Custom Bar Stereo

Restoring and customizing a 1965 Magnavox Micro-Matic Hi-Fidelity system offers a thrilling opportunity to blend the nostalgia of vintage audio equipment with modern upgrades and personal touches. The restoration process began by carefully disassembling the old cabinet and system. This is where creativity takes flight, and I explored a range of possibilities to enhance both aesthetics and performance. I had to add on to the size of the old cabinet to fit the ideas that were in my head. These ideas included a new Fluance Turntable, a lazy Susan for the bottles of your choice, new speakers and an Amazon Alexa for voice activation and streaming.
